[edit]Anyone: I'm trying to figure out if Joseph W. Holden was the son of William Woods Holden. This page (http://docsouth.unc.edu/bios/pn0000761_bio.html) says that W.W. Holden had a son named Joseph W. Holden, who died relatively young in 1875. While that sort of fits what I have on Joseph W. Holden, I have no corroboration of a relationship. Note that if true, that means Joseph was Speaker of the House while his father was Governor, certainly an odd situation. Awbeal 01:35, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
