If this article isn't a copyright problem, then why are there 3-digit reference numbers like (236) that don't link to references? I couldn't find anything on the Internet by Googling article phrases. Art LaPella (talk) 20:16, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Pitts, Islam and Muslim Praxis

The claim that 'Pitts’s narrative was the first and most detailed description of the religion of Islam and the manners of Muslims written by a European during the seventeenth century' is not correct. Pitts description of Islam and Muslim praxis was certainly not the first or, arguably, even the most detailed written by a Briton in the seventeenth century. See, for example, the work of Lancelot Addison and Henry Stubbe in particular.

It would be worth qualifying the position of Pitt's account in the corpus of writing by Europeans about Islam and Muslim praxis.RicardoL62 (talk) 05:47, 11 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
