Be careful of multiple Joseph Millers
[edit]There is a Joseph Miller who served in the Michigan State Legislature in 1841, described as having been born in Connecticut in 1779 and moving to Kalamazoo County in 1834. It is tempting to think they are the same Joseph Miller, given their service in both the territorial and state legislatures, but I can't find any source linking the Joseph Miller of Macomb County with the one of Kalamazoo County.
