Citations
[edit]Howdy,
I thought that direct page citations were preffered, according to Wikipedia:Verifiability & Wikipedia:Citing sources? If you look at those help pages, and articles large, well-flushed out, articles like Harry S. Truman, you'll see both the book cited in references in general and inline citations with page numbers in footnotes. Of course those are then simplified by just using:
- Author, (book name if author has more than one book), page number (s)
I would like to modify your edit to reflect this general Wikipedia policy. Is that alright?

- Yes! Direct page citations are preferred. That was mistake on my part. Thanks for catching that! I took the liberty of putting it in for you. --D.B.talk•contribs 23:05, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
- While not exactly a citation, there appears to be some sort of discrepancy in the rank listed. In the opening paragraph it states that he was a "non-commissioned officer" with Easy, however it shows his rank as PFC in the side bar? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.70.55.44 (talk) 15:58, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
Incorrect name
[edit]Hey guys,
there is a mistake in the name: Lesniewski was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, to Joseph and Ciechaka Lesniewski.
Ciechacka is a Polish family name, and it has never been a first name in Polish. I think that was supposed to be her maiden name. I'm not a contributor I've just found a mistake so if anyone wants to fix it I guess it would help the article.
Thanks, Dash — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.199.255.11 (talk) 22:33, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
