Is Himmel really "anglicized"? I thought it meant heaven?
- I'm not expert in German, but I think you're right. I believe it's anglicized in the way that many foreign surnames were shortened in the United States to reduce their foreign-ness. Ergo Sum 19:42, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
