Photography
[edit]I don't quite know how to reference this... But this bridge is extremely popular with Seattle are photographers both for light trails on the highways below, and for it's view of Downtown Seattle. 24.16.164.87 (talk) 06:06, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Bridge name
[edit]I feel it's not accurate to say that "the official name is not well known by Seattleites". The bridge is plainly signed as 'Dr. Jose Rizal Bridge', and 'Dr. Jose Rizal Park' is very close by. Although the bridge is still often referred to as the 12th Ave. bridge, I'd say it's at least equally well-known as the Jose Rizal bridge. I hope to dig up some sources supporting this view, and will change text if I do. Tomseattle (talk) 12:04, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
- I just updated the broken link to the source that claims the bridge's name isn't well known. From various Google search results, it seems that "12th Avenue Bridge" is mentioned far more commonly in media (Times, TV stations, blogs, etc.), so I think the claim has merit.
