Dear Wikipedia Editor Staff

I have recently discovered the wikipedia, I actually knew it, but never really had the time or the urge to use often. Needless to say I am not acquainted with editing or any of that. Nevertheless I felt tempted to start editing the topics which touch me more closely, where I felt I could easily improve, namely, in physics. And I will do so whenever I find free time, which is not too often.

I fell also to the temptation of opening the above entry, where verifiable information is given about myself. It is true, however, that your concern is fair about whether this can affect the neutrality of the content.

Given this I see two possibilities:

1) eliminate the article

2) have it re-edited by someone else, the farther from the scientific "guetto" as possible, if you so desire

I have no objections to either

Thank you for your attention

of course you're notable by WP, and I cannot readily account for anyone thinking otherwise. In fact, you're so notable by our standards that they article would probably be kept even if you were to object to it. There is no reason why you should not make edits to the article, provided of course you can justify them by references. A slightly more extended but still non-technical explanation of your work would be very useful. So would a listing of your degrees and institutions, and visiting professorships you may have held elsewhere. But if you want to reflect even the most stringent interpretation of the rules here, just put them on the talk page & someone will check and transfer them to the article. I apologize for any rudeness others may have expressed or implied. By the way, the convention here is to sign your comments of talk pages with 4 tildes, like this: ~~~~ , which produces your user name and the time. DGG (talk) 20:31, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I feel embarassed by the note in the preamble that the creator of the article is myself. That is why I contemplated earlier the possibility of eliminating the article. Would it be possible if someone else re-edited the article endorsing its content and eliminating the embarassing preamble altogether? I have no idea whether this fits Wikipedia's policies. Thank you very much for your consideration. I must admit that I am finding Wikipedia to be an extremely useful educational tool. Little by little I hope to contribute to this great project.Jwfvalle (talk) 22:58, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I realize I was too hasty in not providing the information you request. Hope the Highlights of my CV in my web-page http://ahep.uv.es/cms/tiki-index.php?page=JoseValle are enough. The information you request should be there. If not just let me know what else you need and I will try to provide ~~~~.
