You can check this at http://www.iaa.es/dss/personal.html , which is the official web page of the Solar System Department of his institution, the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía. Also, any person familiar with Spanish grammar and naming knowledge can confirm that "Luis" has no accent in the i and that first names like "José Luis" are not typically hyphenated in Spanish.
