Removal
[edit]I removed the following passage, because I think it has some problems:
It's not hard to understand why Lula's Chief of Staff, José Dirceu, got emotional and cried when hugged by Fidel Castro. Dirceu was the president of UNE (União Nacional dos Estudantes—National Union of Students) on October 1968, when he was imprisoned by the military government with other student leaders while trying to clandestinely hold the 30th UNE Congress.
Is this correct? It seems a personal opinion. I am not totally against it, however I think that it is not well written/explained. It seems strange to me. --Carlosar 01:18, 13 Jun 2005 (UTC)
There is a wrong information in the passage too. Dirceu was not president of UNE. The president of UNE was Luís Travassos. Dirceu was the president of UEE. --Carlosar 01:26, 13 Jun 2005 (UTC)
I hope I did the right thing removing the passage, if what I did was wrong, please forgive me, and help me with this passage. --Carlosar 01:26, 13 Jun 2005 (UTC)
-- I agree. Wrong information plus personal view. (VictorMartins)
Added more information
[edit]I have added more information to the text. I need you to check and see if you agree with it. Thank you.--Carlosar 01:29, 13 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Corrected Structure, Grammar and Title
[edit]On Title: According to his official bio (available for awhile here until they put Dilma Roussef's, the title is comparable to that of "chief-of-staff", as "Civilian Household" is meaningless to those outside Brazil. Also, in relation to his department of the government, It has been widely attributed to the "Mensalão" crisis, though no direct fault has yet been proven. I've therefore chosen "purported knowledge" as the most NPOV as one can get in an ongoing crisis.
