Possibly died in 2009?
[edit]An 85 year old man called Jose Luis Cuesta died in Miami in February 2009. Whilst this could be someone else entirely, the name and year of birth fit. He might have retired there amongst the Cuban community, rather than return to Cuba like his brother did. https://www.newspapers.com/clip/97400305/the-miami-herald/
