- Jose Antonio's Great grand son was US Army General George Smith Patton Jr.
Though it is true that Benjamin Davis Wilson, grandfather of George Patton, married Yorba's daughter Ramona, it was from his second marriage to Margaret Hereford and their daughter Ruth's marriage to George Patton, Sr. that General Patton descends. See Benjamin Wilson's Legacy

This article has great information but it's unknown where it came from. There's no inline notes to link to specific references. Therefore, much of it appears to be either cut and pasted from somewhere else or plagiarized. When I get time I'll come back and rework this if it's not done by then. José Antonio Yorba has a great history and it needs to be preserved better with greater care and research.--Bluedv (talk) 06:52, 6 November 2008 (UTC) |
