I got to this page by googling "Montevidean wikipedia" because I saw the word Montevidean and wondered what it meant. So I'm now under the impression that "Montevidean" means "something of Montevideo" which apparently is the capital of Uruguay (or perhaps Montevidean means "something of Uruguay"?). So maybe the word "Montevidean" (in the phrase "the Montevidean newspapers" in the article) should link to something?

As the article is written in English language it is inappropriate to write the name of the Basque provinces in Spanish. They should follow the English orthography. That is Alava, Biscay, Guipuzcoa (or Guipuscoa). --MichaelURSA (talk) 00:59, 5 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It would be useful for the English language reader to have a free translation. It could be as follows:
Humbled before God,standing on the Basque Land,in memory of the ancestors, under the tree of Guernica, before the representatives of the peopleI swear to faithfully perform my office.
