The external page is dated significantly after the text was inserted into Wikipedia in 2008. I'm removing the notability template from this article, as the AfD discussion led to the addition of a cited claim that Menendez won a national award for his journalism. I believe this establishes his notability. No one in the AfD discussion disagreed, but if anyone takes objection at this point, please discuss here.
