Mount Carstensz Pyramid ---> Indonesia --> Australia???

[edit]

I don't even dare to edit anything anymore, as it gets edited back, so all I can do is use this functionality to say, guys, seriously, Indonesia in Australia?

Do I even have to mention in which continent Indonesia is located?

Sad... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sunsetexpress (talkcontribs) 18:03, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've changed it to Asia (I even confirmed it across several other pages, just to be sure). Qwyrxian (talk) 21:43, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Biography in german language

Please translate this in German or Polish! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.159.115.3 (talk) 19:12, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You'll need to make that request at de.wiki or po.wiki. We have no control over what other language Wikipedia's do. Qwyrxian (talk) 08:44, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Middle name

[edit]

For most of the history of this article, we didn't include a middle name in Jordan's name. Last July he became "Jordan David Romero", and on 4th January a previously-unknown IP editor changed David to Alexander. I don't know which, if either, is Jordan's real name. Can someone advise? -- Arwel Parry (talk) 22:47, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed all of the middle names. His personal site doesn't use any middle name, and a few references that I checked don't either. If we can verify the middle name, the only place it should appear is on the first line of the lead (I think; I'll have to review WP:MOSBIO to be sure). Contradicting statements regarding previous records

[edit]

The article states that "He broke the previous record of age 16, by a youth from Nepal" and "The previous record for youngest to climb Everest was held by Ming Kipa of Nepal who was 15 years old when she reached the summit in 2003." Am I missing something here? /Julle (talk) 20:29, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the sentence referring to the older youth, leaving Ming Kipa, as she seems to have been the youngest person to have climbed the mountain prior to Romero's climb. Please correct my edits if this was a mistake. /Julle (talk) 18:59, 3 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
