Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the artist has charted at number 15 in the UK INdependent Singles chart as can be seen here: http://www.theofficialcharts.com/archive-chart/_/12/2011-08-13/. — Davidjohnston83 (talk) 18:06, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: moved. Consensus that this proposal is in line with WP:NAMECHANGES, as – when restricting a search to post-name-change sources – the name Jonny Yerrell predominates. • Oppose – If you look at the date of publication of the results you mention, they're at least 10 years old, with social platforms inactive for the same amount of time. The sources referencing 'Jonny Yerrell' as the correct alias are all recently published, with some as recent as today's date. This spread over the past 5 to 6 years. 82.38.62.59 (talk) 23:06, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm pretty sure that's an expression of support for the proposal, not opposition, so I have struck through the word "oppose". It came from the proposer. Maybe it is opposing the idea of deleting the proposal; it is not opposing the proposed move itself. — BarrelProof (talk) 23:41, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
