Talk:Jonesboro High School (Georgia)
I would like to add more history about Jonesboro High School . Such as where the first location of the school was and what year the school was moved. I would also like to add more information about the building structure of the school and the construction work that it is under going . Kitagamble (talk) 21:14, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
- Congratulations on finding a source and adding it. I knew the history because I graduated from JHS in 1982 but I didn't add it because I didn't have a source and the obvious WP:COI issues. --Ron Ritzman (talk) 00:12, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
- this article was very good and held a good basis of information on Jonesboro High School. I would just add more information on the historical aspect and broaden the introduction paragraph. User:valencia4723 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.165.46.55 (talk) 22:48, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
Notable people
[edit]I removed a bunch of people from the notable alumni list yesterday. Another editor replaced them, with an edit summary of "I think they belong". Frankly neither your opinion nor my opinion matter. To be on the notable list, they have to be notable! To be in a notable list, a person must either have a Wiki bio and in that there must be referenced content showing connection to the school; or they must have a wiki bio and you add a WP:RS to the list showing their connection to the school (not the town, the school)l; or you must provide reliable sources to show they meet notability per WP:BIO and to show their connection to the school. See WP:SCH/AG#Alumni. As far as putting them back, remember it is WP:BRD, not WP:BRRD. Let's not edit war, ok? I will put it back to where I left it, and we can discuss any entries that are not clear cut. Since most were replaced without any reference, that isn't much.
