The other Jonathan Groff
[edit]Should there be a mention at the top of the article that this is not the Jonathan Groff from Scrubs who used to write for Conan O'Brien?

Updated Picture
[edit]A user from IP address 116.193.136.91 has continually undone my edits to update the picture from one taken in 2006 when Groff was in his early 20s. The picture I have proposed replace it "File:Jonathan Groff at Outfest 2013.jpg" is from four years ago when he was in his late 20s. Not only is it a more recent picture, but the 2013 photo is a much better photo than the 2006 photo. The reason this has yet to catch the attention of moderators is rather than revert my edits User:116.193.136.91 is changing the content manually. If this continues, it would qualify as an edit war. I believe I have made the case for my proposed photo, but I wanted to put this on the talk page.Mpen320 (talk) 13:25, 31 August 2017 (UTC)Mpen320 (talk) 08:24, 31 August 2017 (CT)
Frozen should be mentioned earlier
[edit]I feel like that frozen should be in the first couple of paragraphs and not all the way down in the third. Given that it is where people will most likely recognise him from. Hamilton is popular as well, but I feel like more people will recognise frozen over Hamilton. Technodisney (talk) 21:46, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Hey, I'm going to be reviewing this article. Expect comments by the end of the week. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 12:52, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
Infobox and lead
[edit]- Infobox looks good; images are free to use.
- However, I would suggest adding a caption.
- Done Added. KlueMeIn (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
- "as the recurring role" doesn't sound right. Try rewording.
- Certain claims don't need sources if they are already in the body of the article.
- Done Removed redundant citations. KlueMeIn (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
- "that is set to" → "which is set to" or "set to"
- Add a comma after "December 22, 2021" in the last sentence.
Early life
[edit]- The first sentence needs a source.
- You can't cite IMDb per WP:IMDB.
- Done Changed source. KlueMeIn (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
- That second paragraph is just a quote. Is it necessary?
- Done Got rid of quote and integrated relevant information about religious background into first paragraph. KlueMeIn (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
- Here and in other sections, change uses of "..." to "[...]" (visually pleasing).
- The second-to-last paragraph is unsourced.
- Done Added sources. KlueMeIn (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
- The reference after "begin his career" is dead.
- Done Found new source. KlueMeIn (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
Career
[edit]- Add commas after "December 11, 2005", "May 19, 2006", "August 21, 2010", "September 9, 2012", "January 20, 2013", "September 20, 2013", "November 19, 2013", "May 25, 2014", "July 13, 2015", "September 17, 2019", per MOS:DATECOMMA.
- Done Thanks! Wasn't aware of the this. KlueMeIn (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
- The use of "musical" in the last sentence of the 1st paragraph feels repetitive.
- Done Reworded. KlueMeIn (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
- "filmed a first episode" doesn't sound right so try rewording.
- The sentence ending with "in 2019" needs a source.
- "Upcoming Projects" → "Upcoming projects"
- Done. KlueMeIn (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
Personal life
[edit]- This section looks good.
Filmography and discography
[edit]- Per consistency with other GA-articles, each of his projects needs a source.
- Done Added reference column. KlueMeIn (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
Awards and nominations
[edit]- Every single award nomination/win needs a reference as well.
- It would also make it easier to simply have a references column.
References
[edit]- Archive all archivable sources (either manually or with this tool).
- Done Thank you! KlueMeIn (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
- Mark references from Los Angeles Times with "|url-access=limited".
- Mark references from The New York Times with "|url-access=limited".
- Mark references from Rolling Stone with "|url-access=limited".
- Mark references from Vanity Fair with "|url-access=limited".
- Mark references from Vulture with "|url-access=limited".
- USA TODAY → USA Today
- The reference after The Voice is missing several parameters.
- I checked the reference, and I'm not sure what is missing. KlueMeIn (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
- Optional, but linking websites using "|website=" can help future readers.
