[edit]In the summer of 1979 I gained employment with Holubar Mountaineering in Boulder Colorado. At the time, they were a prominent manufacture of quality outdoor gear, including tents, packs, and clothing. They were headquartered in Boulder Colorado and maintained about a dozen retail stores scattered throughout the west. Holubar was owned by Johnson camping. It would later sell to the north face around 1980/1981.

[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hi, I am the archivist and historian for SC Johnson which spun off its recreational business to create Johnson Outdoors. I acknowledge that I have a conflict of interest and am writing to request three small edits to the Wikipedia article on Johnson Outdoors.
Change Sentence From: The company is a component of Johnson Family Enterprises, previously known as Johnson Wax Associates, and grew out of diversification and acquisition efforts by S. C. Johnson & Son during the 1970s.
To: The company, previously known as Johnson Wax Associates, grew out of diversification and acquisition efforts by S. C. Johnson & Son during the 1970s.
Remove the banner titled “Johnson Family Enterprises” from the bottom of the article.
Remove Johnson Family Enterprises from the Categories section.
Johnson Family Enterprises does not exist and the linked page was previously removed as per deletion request.(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Johnson_Family_Enterprises) Thanks! Wax86 (talk) 17:58, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
