Succession as heir presumptive
[edit]The succession box can't be quite right. There's a 13 month gap between Bosworth and the birth of Arthur, Prince of Wales. I don't know who was considered heir presumptive to the English throne for that time period. Loren Rosen (talk) 02:45, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Buckingham? My understanding, though, is that Henry VII recognized nobody as heir presumptive before his son's birth. john k (talk) 06:34, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Claimant rather than' Pretender'
[edit]Claimant rather than pretender to the throne. The box is wrong; historians i.e. reliable sources do not use the term in lieu or interchangably. Basket Feudalist 15:39, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
- Agreed. But he's better than a claimant. He was Richard IIIs heir presumptive after Edward of Middleham died. If there's no infobox for heirs to the throne, then it ought to be a royalty infobox with that noted in it. ScarletRibbons (talk) 03:14, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
Sources
[edit]Someone typed in that according to Geni.com -- this and that. Geni.com is NOT a reputable source. Therefore I am taking out the claims made by someone that these two had children. We already had a section on that and it clearly talks about the two possibly having one child who died young, but Horrox saying the couple had NO issue. This is absurd. -- Lady Meg (talk) 22:50, 8 March 2019 (UTC)
