Anne of Cleves had issue?

[edit]

"Upon Duke John William's childless death in 1609... The second sister was Anna of Cleves (1552-1632), and her son and heir was the then Count Palatine of Neuburg, a catholic."

According to everything I've read, Anne never had any children and therefore couldn't have had a son vying for the position of Duke of Cleves.

Also, according to the Count Palatine link, the Count during 1609 was Philip Louis - the son of Wolfgang of Zweibrücken and Anna of Hesse. SleepyAE 19:23, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Probably a rumour. She would have been guarded too much, maybe even by spies so there would be records of her being pregnant if she was. Anara2812 (talk) 16:09, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
