School?
[edit]If I"m not mistaken, isn't there a school in Calgary, Alberta named after him? I think it was a middle school. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by DiogenesTheHobo (talk • contribs) 00:05, 21 March 2007 (UTC).
- Sorry for the (very) late reply, but yes, there is a school in Calgary, a junior high school. As of now, I am actually attending school there. Ginbot86 (talk) 03:42, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Inspiration for Joshua Deets of Lonesome Dove?
[edit]Was John Ware the inspiration for Joshua Deets in the TV mini-series Lonesome Dove? My aunt seems to think so, though unless there's a passage in the book that says otherwise he doesn't ever seem to go to Canada in the show. Any interviews, biographies, etc. explain who, if anyone, inspired Joshua Deets? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Secretkeeper12 (talk • contribs) 00:01, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
