Fatimids or Ikhshidids

It says "pleading with him to hasten to Palestine and retake it from the Fatimid Caliphs." The Fatimids didn't even rule Palestine until 969/970. If he died in 966, then it was under Ikhshidid rule. --Crazyketchupguy (talk) 06:09, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
