'The Strike that Won after 17 Months, Roberts Arundel' - John Tocher interview with Paul Foot, April 1978
[edit]I have added a Reference no. 3, to an interview with John Tocher by Paul Foot, published in Socialist Worker, 22 April 1978, in which Tocher describes the terms of settlement of the strike.
Tocher concludes, "So we closed a scab firm and we got jobs and money for all our members. One last thing. The police agreed, before the cases came to court, to pay all the damages we asked for for our three members battered in the cells".
