Portrait of John Simpson Knox from The Times of London

[edit]

I have tried without success to post this image with appropriate copyright licensing information. No matter what I do, Wikipedia seems determined to delete this file. I regret this because no copyright is being violated and the image does contribute materially to the content of the article. I therefore leave it to other editors to resolve this, if possible. i'm know great shakes at images either, but I can see a few things wrong, you've claimed youself as the author, when that's actually whoever originally created the image, and I think the precise date the image appeared in The Times (and that's the paper's actual name, not The Times of London) would probably help too if available. I can't work out which licence tag is applicable, one of those is also needed, try asking at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags for advice. David Underdown (talk) 16:22, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
