There are two edit requests for consideration / verification: John Shoffner's birthday is July 25, 1955 (not July 27). A second edit for consideration is that he was not disenrolled from the Prep Academy for streaking. Adastra2022 (talk) 02:11, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Xpenz: Removing the infobox isn't being 'unfair' on Shoffner in any sense, so being "fair" has nothing to do with anything. The infoboxes for the Polaris crew give easy access to information that is found in the article body. That is the purpose of an infobox; to summarise and give easy access to information that isn't staring you in the face. The only piece of information this infobox gives that isn't already easily accessible from the whopping two-sentence lead is his birthplace. It's a literal waste of space. Your reasoning so far amounts to WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. – 2.O.Boxing12:38, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You're adding things that shouldn't be there for the sole reason of keeping the infobox. Now that I've removed what shouldn't be there, we're back to only the birthplace. If you add sourced content to the article to justify the inclusion of the title parameter, that leaves us with two pieces of information that are not in the quickly-readable two-sentence lead. That still does not justify the use of an infobox. And the addition of thaf redundant sentence to the lead didn't help anything. – 2.O.Boxing13:14, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
