October Baby

In the opening paragraph on Schneider it correctly states that he is most widely known from Dukes of Hazzard and Smallville, but in the same sentence it says he's widely known for October Baby, a small independent film that never even garnered a wide release. This might be wishful thinking for fans or producers of the film, but it's far from accurate. Age Controversy

The date of birth was given as 1954 in the main article, however it was also listed under the 1960s births category. Schneider was indeed born in 1960 - he lied about his age in order to get the part in The Dukes of Hazzard, as he was only 18 when filming began. He confirms this on the commentary on the DVD of the first series. IMDB currently lists the erroneous 1954 date, however see discussion on the IMDB forums - it should be changed soon. 143.252.80.110 13:05, 17 August 2005 (UTC)

Added age section to article explaining that he was born in 1960 and this has been stated by himself on various ocassions I agree with 143.252.80.110 the date should be 1960 and have updated accordingly --Chad 19:44, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Added more sources found that state 1960 as birth year, people keep changing this, only becouse IMDB is listed incorrectly, as with everything IMDB isnt the always accurate and research should be done, there is even message board posts on IMDB about people trying to get it changed and having proof about the 1960 birth year but IMDB won't listen or change it. --Chad 04:18, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

High School Assertion

User:64.13.81.138 claimed on 19 December 2005 the following: "John Schneider Graduated from North Springs High School in Atlanta, Georgia, not Fox Lane High in New York!"

I have first-hand experience that supports the "graduated from Fox Lane" hypothesis. I graduated from Fox Lane High School in 1986, and from its affiliated Middle School in 1982. (The two districts are coterminous, so everyone who goes to the MS ends up in the HS.) Sometime around 1980, my middle school chorus teacher was staging "Fiddler on the Roof". "Dukes" was still popular, so he brought in a playbill from when they'the MS had done the play 14 years earlier, impressed us by pointing out John Schneider listed in the role of Tevye. :) On the other hand, it's possible he went to the MS and then moved to Atlanta for high school or something. --tgeller 06:24, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

I have readded that North Springs High School as Graduated from I have found numerous articles referencing this as the graduation place if anyone has diffinitive proof against this we can remove and post the other, with references. --Chad 06:51, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
