Category:Selenographers?

The article does not appear to provide any basis for the use of Category:Selenographers. If no substantiation is added to the article that category should be deleted. Cgingold (talk) 13:41, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Catalogue

The man is an artist, but whilst there is extensive coverage of his religious views, there is not even an attempt to catalogue his works. Most WP articles on architects and engineers, for example, do mention the buildings or bridges they created, or at least the better examples thereof. Please add a list of extant works, with: date of creation if known; private or public collection; if public, where to see. Possibly also some more examples of his oeuvre on this article: suggest the portrait of Mikak as an urgent example, partly because it is a magnificent work in itself, partly because the subject raises several thoughts on attitudes to non-Europeans in the Georgian era: rare enough to be a wonder rather than numerous enough to be a 'threat'?
