I don't know to whom this should be addressed. Someone has made a decision to redirect the article Captain John Porteous to Porteous Riots, which I propose reversing. I am doing a complete rewrite of the article on John Porteous, but imho this should be a separate article from that on the riots - as it contains personal information and trivia which will be out of place there. I will, if you like, write a separate and more detailed article on the Porteous Riots, but the redirect must be changed back. Thanks Bruce, aka Agendum | Talk 22:29, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
