This is a significant person in the history of drug addiction in this country at the same level as Isabella Frankau, he contributed greatly to the increase in the number of drug addicts in this country and was one of the few 'script' doctors who gave evidence to the Brain committee. I'm trying to write the history of the rise of drug addiction in this county which hasn't been covered at all.
