[edit]Notable son of William Penn
[edit]This Philadelphia born son of William Penn, the first Proprietor of Pennsylvania, and a half-proprietor in his own right, seems to me to be quite a notable figure in the history of Philadelphia and colonial Pennsylvania. Currently the article is class=stub, but additional material is likely to be available from the Historical Society of Pennsylvania, where I can conduct additional research.
Those who think he is not notable should make their case here. Meanwhile, as a member of the Rescue Squadron, I have tagged the article for rescue. --DThomsen8 (talk) 21:53, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- If Dthomsen hadn't got the jump on me, I would have started this article. I just added a little more info that I had, so I removed the AfD tag. Hey, he owned half of Pennsylvania!--BillFlis (talk) 22:46, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
