No mention of corruption, bribery, or rip-off of his investors

[edit]

Peregrine software was a notoriously corrupt company. While Moores was in charge, the investors were wiped out. He cashed in. There are a lot of articles about this. See: http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=peregrine+fraud

Moores is well known for bribing San Diego city councilwoman Valerie Stallings. Again, this is very well documented. See: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=stallings+moores+san+diego&aq=f&oq=&aqi=

In short, this bio is more hagiography than truth. But anyone who attempts to include information like this, even though well-sourced. The result is a very inaccurate picture. Reading this wikipedia article, you'd think Moores is a wonderful philanthropist. The residents of San Diego and investors in Peregrine know otherwise.

Then write a neutrally worded, reliably sourced section on these allegations. This is the encyclopaedia that anyone can edit, you know. Rockpocket 07:08, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
