I question whether Michelosen was actually the youngest ever NFL head coach at the time of his hire. In fact, I'm not certain that he was the youngest Steelers head coach. According to Forrest Douds' Wikipedia entry, he would have been 27 or 28 when he became the Steelers first head coach. Unless someone can provide a definite reference for this factoid, I will edit this entry.--Deejayk (talk) 17:43, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
After doing some more research, it appears that there is a distinction between Modern Era (after 1946) and prior years (Pre-Modern Era). I've edited the article to add a reference for this claim and to clarify.
