What BLP problem?

[edit]

WP:BLP requires that contentious material that is unsourced, about living people, be removed without discussion. First, there is nothing contentious about the paragraph in question - if you question the facts, like whether he was 6'9", or what high school he went to, then put in a {{cn}} request. John has been dead, sadly, for 16 years, and I see absolutely nothing in that paragraph that could be a collateral problem for any living person (which theoretically could be a reason for invoking BLP) - so please stop removing it, and express here what exactly you are concerned about. You can't just invoke a policy without any backup for your claim. Tvoz/talk 22:25, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I missed that he was in fact long deceased. My apologies.  Xihr  00:10, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
