"was the first complete book of poetry by any Mormon writer." This statement is not true. Parley P. Pratt published a volume of poetry, "The Millennium" in 1835. I'm modifying the statement as a result. Kent Larsen (talk) 02:14, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This article has been substantially rewritten. The main interest to non-Mormons, especially in Scotland is his poetry and I notice the info about his poetry and writing has been whittled down while there is plenty about the positions he held in the LDS. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.249.184.140 (talk) 11:01, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
