[edit]There is no proof that this guy created any of the crop circles. His web-site has no proofs. He just keeps putting here his unconfirmed bio. Even he did so many interviews, this can not be taken seriously. I suggest to reduce this article to confirmed facts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.204.252.41 (talk) 06:53, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
This guy created another account and continues to submit unconfirmed information
[edit]John Lundberg, deception specialist supposedly created Spectral Czar account and continues to write nonsense about himself - awards that he won, movies that he did. How can a movie that was shown and won awards does not have a trailer? This guy is just a sticky shit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.204.250.63 (talk) 08:35, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Look where his awards are documented http://www.whosdatedwho.com/tpx_4006021/jerwood-first-cuts-documentary-award/ Jerwood First Cuts Documentary Award, is it some type of freak show? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.204.250.63 (talk) 08:57, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- Sign your posts with 4 ~
- Read WP:OUTING
- Read WP:BLP
- Try not to refer to the living subjects of Wikipedia articles as sticky shits
- Be more careful with content. For example, the source cited for the awards is the NFTS[1] which says "His graduation film The Mythologist was broadcast on BBC4, won the Jerwood First Cuts Documentary Award and was shortlisted for the 2004 Grierson Awards in the best newcomer category." Sean.hoyland - talk 10:07, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the advice, may be I am not an expert editor, but whole information about awards and BBC screening is based on a tiny article in http://www.nfts.co.uk/index.php?module=People&people_id=268&film=211&flashinstall=no I think this is unreliable source, even there is a grammar mistake.
- Also all his bio and graduation is based on his own interviews and personal web-site
- This text: "Lundberg has also been involved with gallery-based art in collaboration with UFOlogists" is based on a couple of unreliable articles that mention some "rumors", UFO-logists hate this guy.
- It is not that he fakes crop circles, he just fakes his bio, that's it, may be literally he is not "sticky shit", but he is a definitely a disgrace

- Apparently you haven't read BLP yet. You've just made an evidenceless accusation against a living person here. You aren't allowed to do that. Wikipedia doesn't care about who hates this guy. If you don't like the guy, don't edit his biography. If you keep this up you will just be reported, probably blocked, and the article will be semi-protected. Do you have any reason at all to challenge the reliability of the National Film and Television School's bio ? Information based on his interviews can be attributed to him as the source rather than removed. Sean.hoyland - talk 11:11, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- I will follow BLP. I just said that there is no way there was "collaboration with UFOlogists", this is just another fantasy.
- "If you don't like the guy, don't edit his biography." excuse me fellow editor, and then who will edit bio of Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot? I am doing this because I want to improve Wikipedia, so people can trust it.
- "Do you have any reason at all to challenge the reliability of the National Film and Television School's bio ?" of course I do, just read what nonsense they are writing there: "An artist who covertly created crop circles in the fields of southern England for over a decade" - where is the proof - it does not exist, I already searched, so NFTS is just writing fantasy. There is some video of few small ugly (or how they said right in the movie "not perfect") circles that he created on camera, that's it. Conclusion: NFTS can not be trusted regarding this person. 207.204.250.72 (talk) 12:18, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

- Information based on his interviews can be attributed to him as the source rather than removed this does not really always work like this, if it is BBC or CNN, yes may be, but if this is some paradigmjournal.com, this is a non reliable source. I traced several Wikipedia articles full of this type of "facts", I just don't have time to work with them. No accusations, but there is such a business like creating false identity and making business using it. 207.204.250.72 (talk) 12:52, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
I traced several Wikipedia articles full of this type of "facts" I mean related to John Lundberg in one way or another, including his education "facts".207.204.250.72 (talk) 13:13, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
About the sources
[edit]... said John Lundberg, of Circlemakers, the creators of Britain's best circles. from http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2002/aug/25/filmnews.artsnews
This clearly shows guardian.co.uk is NOT a RS. Material should not be added to an article when the only sourcing is tabloid journalism. When material is both verifiable and noteworthy, it will have appeared in more reliable sources. from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons#Reliable_sources 220.255.1.105 (talk) 15:27, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

- The problem with that is that the editing that is going on is some the most astoundingly idiotic nonsense I have seen for a long time and I've seen a lot of dumb stuff. Reuters unreliable. The Guardian unreliable. University of Westminster unreliable etc etc. This is not how to improve Wikipedia. This is how to turn a Wikipedia article into a pile of crap and get the article locked down so that it can't be improved. Sean.hoyland - talk 15:59, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
