Is this the same guy?
[edit]Jack Leckie was a noted coach in the West Australian Football League after his playing career ended, a career that seemed to mirror that of the politician. Both started at Fitzroy and went on to play in the WA Goldfields before going to Perth. From reading this article, it seems that the politican's post football playing days were spent in Victoria while the 'other' guy had coaching stints in WA. Is it still possible they are the same person? Jevansen (talk) 00:12, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- No. On close examination, the man listed here was playing for Fitzroy in 1895, while the man you mention was in "Coolgardie where, in 1895, he was heavily instrumental in getting organised football underway via the formation of the three team Yilgarn Football Association".
