Teeth
Does he have wooden teeth? Very appealing shade of brown...
Street Sweeper
According to Lasseter himself on the Disneyland Secrets Stories and Magic DVD, his first job at Disneyland was as a street sweeper, not as a Jungle Cruise skipper as is stated in the article here. He even makes a point about this in the segment. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.254.20.27 (talk) 02:40, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
I took out the bit that said Lasseter was working with Eisner to remove all the great talent at Disney. Seriously, where the hell did that come from? - Little Leota 23:40, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Lasseter (I.E. The new chief creative officer of the combined Pixar / Disney operation) and Ed Catmull (I.E. President of this new mega animation operation) met with middle managers in the Sorcerer Mickey building last Wednesday and basically told these folks: "If you don't draw for a living, then you really don't belong in this building."
Personally, as a fan of animation, I love that.
Who put up the names of his kids? I think that prehaps he or she should take it down because I don't know if John Lasseter would like it is he saw the names of his kids. - Halibut Thyme, 06:25am, 19 September 2006.
Chris Sanders
I removed the line about Sanders being removed as director of American Dog. For one, last I checked, the studio had never confirmed this. Second, it was POV and had no place in that part of the article. If this news is confirmed, then it may be worth adding back in, so long as it is kept in context. Really, though, I see no reason to comment on Lasseter's every business decision. --DMAJohnson 01:11, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
Agreed. Esp since the original post referenced Sanders leaving Disney, which I do not believe has been confirmed. Jprismon 07:04, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Lasseter pistol and Firefly?
Is it encyclopedic to mention this bit of trivia in the article? --NeuronExMachina 09:23, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
- In the episode "Trash", the prized item is a Lasseter laser pistol, which shares its name with John Lasseter, Joss Whedon's co-writer on Toy Story (1995).
Picture
Someone please change his picture...Its not appealing. Someone should get a more proffesional one..
His teeth are such a beautiful shade of brown. --Proffesor B (talk) 01:21, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
You would think with all that cash he could afford some Crest White Strips. TripOnMyShip (talk) 19:43, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
Location
The article says Lasseter lives in Sonoma, new mexico alabama in California. Where is that? I live in CA, and I've never heard of that place. There is a city called Sonoma, which is in Sonoma County (I live in Sonoma County). And there are two states called New Mexico and Alabama. But they aren't in CA.

The Lucas/Pixar section completely omits the period where they produced 3D commercials to stay in business. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.234.109.231 (talk) 07:44, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
