[edit]Drew, do you know what he was transported for? This article doesn't say. Ambi 23:44, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know. Erickson (1983) just says "He had been a clerk in the British Army and was transported in the Pyrenees in June 1851, receiving his ticket-of-leave on the day of landing." Sometime in the next week or so I'll get myself down to the public library and have a look at the "bond" volume of Dictionary of Western Australians. If that doesn't have the information, then nothing will. Drew (Snottygobble | Talk) 23:48, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
James or John?
[edit]Was he known as James or John? Some of the sources call him James, some John. DuncanHill (talk) 02:20, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
