He was only Caretaker Manager of Plymouth Argyle for two games. Feb 10th 1990 v Sheffield United away L 0-1. Feb 24th 1990 v Port Vale away L 0-3. He was replaced by David Kemp as Manager on March 2nd 1990. Gregory then played in the next three games under Kemps management before going to Bolton as player as the article says.

A citation is required for this - I cannot provide it, although I can remember something similar, where Villa fielded an "all British" team. It was widely remarked on at the time.Plingsby (talk) 11:43, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
