My mother, who met John Gilpin repeatedly in her youth and took an interest in his career, isn't convinced that the photo shown is really him. He had blue eyes, she says, and the face seems similar but not quite the same. Torve (talk) 17:53, 11 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
