Senator John Bourinot does not have a middle name. His correct date of birth is July 28, 1813.
[edit]His parents were Elisabeth Blampied born in St. Helier, Jersey and Jean Bourinot born in Grouville, Jersey. His parents were marriedin St.Helier, Jersey. Jean was a Conducteur in General Don’s Army. He is listed in the Muster List in Jersey. He then worked for the Robbins Company of France. He spent about 6 monthe of the year on the East Coast of Canada buying, and ordering building of, small fishing vessels, usually schooners, for the Robbins Company. As a young man, his son, later to be the third man appointed to the Confederation Canadian Senate, namely John Bourinot, came for the summer and didn’t return with his father to Jersey.
I am unable to to remove the word George fro the header. I am tired of making these corrections obtained from records in Jersey about my gt-gt-grandparents and my great-grandparents. Whoever you are making these corrections not based on reliable data, please contact me at rswal@pobox.com to discuss this problem and let this correct data be.
