Allegation and legend concerning the death of William III
[edit]It was alleged by William III's Jacobite opponents that William III was riding Sir John Friend's horse, after Friend's execution, which stumbled over a molehill, causing the King's death. Supporters of the Jacobite cause believed this to have been the Judgement of God against an illegitimate king. 81.139.225.10 (talk) 23:55, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
