Historical Update
[edit]Having spent 25 years researching the events involving this man I can support claims that what is written here is seriously lacking in detail and accuracy. You can check the facts and primary research evidence at a website named the same as the book The Silent Moon. One interesting addition is that John Francis ended up being present in the American Civil War, there is a book written by his family about this. Although my retelling of this man and his actions is different again. I will when I find a way and get a chance re-edit the entry on this page.Redbacks Again (talk) 23:19, 23 October 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry, no, you can not use your own research based on primary sources, and you can not use your own web site and self-published book as sources - you would be violating both WP:OR and WP:RS. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 07:03, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
