Upton (London Borough of Newham)

Hi This link currently points to Upton Park - that remains the current location of West Ham FC! Upton House, where this chap had his botanical gardens became West Ham Park. It's about half-a-mile away, to the west. I can't find a reference for it - but it's in the ownership of the City of London corporation - so, that would probably be a good place to start.
