Marital status
[edit]I am going to delete the statement that John Foster died unmarried. The citation provides some reference to when he died, but its silence on his marital status is not evidence that he was unmarried. To the contrary, my research has uncovered a suggestion he was married, but I would want to find some corroboration before I definitively make the claim. In a family tree the (unnamed) mother of my 3xgreat grandmother, Eliza Wilson (b Oldcastle, co Meath, ca 1809) is said to have been married to John, the son of "Speaker Foster, the last Speaker of the Irish House of Commons, Dublin", "to whom she bore one son (Nathaniel) who died young".
