Speculation about Walter and Farson
[edit]King originally meant for Farson to be a town. Is it possible that it was both a town and a person? This could explain the quote "He did his service to Farson". That may be referring to his service to the town Farson. Could I put this sort of speculation in the article? My opinion is that Walter and John Farson are two different people and King just messed up, if anyone's interested. --Scott w 22:59, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
I believe that it explicitly states that Marten Broadcloak is John Farson in the revised edition of the Gunslinger. It's only mentioned as an afterthought and I don't think it's alluded to anywhere else in the series, but it is clearly stated there.--216.231.162.9 20:01, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
I think at the end of Book 4 Wizard and Glass it says Farson is Randall Flagg ie Marten as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.12.64.148 (talk) 14:21, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
