A remarkable leader in the United States Army. Unique in the fact that he was passed over for promotion to the rank of Major General while he was supervising construction in Israel; part of the Peace Treaty between Israel, Egypt and Jordan. LTG Wall’s performance as a Brigadier General was so dominant and effective that the US Congress reversed the Passover,(firing)of BG John Furman Wall and promoted him to MG General and later in another assignment, promoted him to the LTG rank. A remarkable member of the Corps of Engineers.
[edit]Recognize the significance of the Peace Treaty that still exists as a result of his efforts. 2600:8800:881A:E300:B99A:7806:67EA:914D (talk) 00:58, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
