Parentage
[edit]There was a strange line "he and his family moved with the latter to the Netherlands" in the lead. I dig some digging and "the latter" was there because originally it wasn't "his family" but said "to a British father and Dutch Mother". Strangely someone removed the reference to his parents because "he is not Dutch" and did not fix "the latter" to make sense.
Anyway, I change the text back to what it essentially was prior to "the latter" being inserted. I think it flows better and makes his parentage clear. It's also more consistent with the Dutch article on him. I also found a short bio in English to use as a reference, but I am concerned that this source might, in fact, be using Wikipedia as its source. I found a Dutch bio which also says the same "British father, Dutch mother", and the language isn't too close to Wikipedia, so might be ok. https://muzikum.eu/nl/john-ewbank/biografie
Not 100% ideal, but the best I can do. 193.119.80.59 (talk) 03:00, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
