Hosting royalty

[edit]

Changed to "sitting royalty" — USS Peacock (1828) previously hosted a clandestine, night-time visit by Prince Pin Klao during the second mission of Edmund Roberts (diplomat); I've added it to the prince's article but not the other two. --Pawyilee (talk) 14:38, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dates

[edit]

Either you or Edwin C. Bearss, Charlestown Navy Yard, 1800–1842, U.S. Dept. of Interior, 1984, who says Downes was commandant of Charlestown Navy Yard, 1835–1842, is wrong.

Interred

[edit]

At least in the legend at top, you wanna state where he's buried? It's not exactly an unknown cemetery.
