Corner of Hay and Melbourne St

[edit]

I don't believe there was a corner of Hay and Melbourne St - discussion at Talk:Melbourne Hotel (Perth)#On the corner of Milligan (formerly Melbourne). Mitch Ames (talk) 12:26, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

St Georges Terrace

[edit]

The references cited in the article either state "buying land mostly along St. George’s Terrace" or "A large section of the principal street belongs to him" neither of which implies that he owned "most of St Georges Terrace". St Georges Terrace is approximately 1.5km in length (from Milligan Street to Victoria Avenue). At the turn of the century (around the time referenced in the two citations) there were a number of significant building already constructed along the length of St Georges Terrace, none of which were owned by De Baun. Picture request of John De Baun entrance at 108 St Georges Terrace

[edit]

Could someone please take a picture of the John De Baun entrance at 108 St Georges Terrace and upload it on wikimedia commons and here? I won't get a chance to do it.Zigzig20s (talk) 11:25, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
